The Smoking Cessation Program at Kingsway Health is done using Laser Therapy.  The Low Level Intensity Laser is used on a series of acupuncture points (on the ears, forearms and lower legs) to stimulate your nervous system to produce endorphins – nature’s mood lifter and pain reliever. This treatment calms your nervous system, eliminates cravings, and returns your metabolism to its natural state.  As a result, your are able quit smoking without the discomfort of withdrawals. Included with the laser acupuncture treatment, we provide counseling and support, ranging from tips to promote success to nutritional supplementation and exercise.

There are 3 appointments involved in your fee of $395.00; the first appointment will take approximately 90 minutes; and the second takes place within 2-5 days, and lasts approximately 45 minutes. The third appointment will take place when the patient feels like they need to come in for a booster, within a six month period from the initiation of the program.  Some patients may require the third session within one month, while others may not feel they need it at all.  For a fee of $70.00 the patient can come any time for additional boosters as needed.
